燕子の物语

Takuto lied on the bed, thinking of what happened in the afternoon. He could still feel Miki shivered in his arm, as if she feared something. He wondered if it had to do with her memories.

 
*Flashback*

 
…

 
“But I’m not lying. Why don’t you believe me?”

 
“’Cause I… Oh my God!” Miki was shocked by what she saw behind Takuto’s back. “Takuto, run!” Miki shouted and she dragged him.

 
“Miki, what happened?” Takuto asked, totally shocked by Miki’s action.

 
“Don’t look behind you! Just keep running.”

 
Takuto had a strong sense of curiosity so he turned back and take a look. There was a man with black wings chasing after them. Along with him, was a flock of crows.

 
“Pursuer.” Takuto whispered. He let go of Miki’s hand and stood still.

 
“Takuto!” Miki stopped, trying to get him run with her.

 
“Miki, don’t be scare when you see this.”

 
Wings started to appear on Takuto’s back. It was different from the Pursuer. Takuto’s wings were of two different colors. The left side was pure white; the right side was dark black. As his wings appeared, Takuto’s true form was merging out as well. His hair became longer; he became taller; and there is a strong aura surrounding him.

 
Takuto was much feared by his comrades, came to this world, where he could experience normal life. He was, what people would called, The Fallen Angel.

 
“Takuto…” Miki was terrified. This was not the Takuto she had known all her life.

 
“Sorry Miki. I thought I would never need to show you my true form.” Takuto looked back and smiled sadly. “Now hide in a corner!”

 
The fight between him and the Pursuer was a long fight. Although, he had defeated the Pursuer in the end, Takuto was still severely injured. Without hesitation, Miki ran to him and put his head on her lap.

 
“Takuto! You okay? Talk to me!” Miki wept.

 
“Miki…”

 
“Takuto!”

 
“Sorry… Sorry that I frighten you this way.” Miki held onto Takuto’s hands tightly.

 
Upon seeing Takuto’s weak smile, Miki gathered all her courage and said something she never thought she would say, “Takuto is Takuto. You are the same person I know since young. I still like you no matter how you look like!”

 
“Thank you.” Takuto’s hands fell to the ground.

 
“NO!!!!!!!!!” Miki yelled. As her tears dripped onto Takuto’s face; the sky started to change, rain started pouring and thunder started to roar. Wings started appearing on Miki’s back; like it did with Takuto. But Miki’s wings were pure white. She wrapped Takuto inside of her wings and bright blue light began to shine. Within minutes, Takuto injuries were healed. Takuto’s injuries were now projected on Miki’s body.

 
When Takuto comes to, he found Miki’s weaken state next to him. He saw her white wings and immediately understood what happened. Miki healed him. And the result is the healer herself will receive half of the injuries as a punishment of abusing the power.

 
In order to protect Miki, Takuto sealed Miki’s memories. As for the injuries, Takuto brought her to the hospital his sister worked at. His sister, like him, was a Fallen Angel. After hearing the whole story, His sister, Karin saved Miki and had Takuto sent to a temple for training. As for Karin, she hid her true form and disguised herself as Miki’s roommate to protect her from any danger.

 
*End of flashback*

 
“Karin, thanks for protecting Miki when I’m not around.” Takuto murmured.
